The ST 9100 is a dual-mode (satellite/cellular) IoT terminal for advanced tracking, monitoring, and flexible control for fixed and mobile assets, no matter how remote they are and regardless of location, with automatic 4G LTE/3G/2G cellular and satellite backup.
This powerful device leverages the IsatData Pro network for satellite connectivity with the cellular network powered by ORBCOMM SIM. The IsatData Pro network provides low-latency satellite connectivity with large message sizes. The ORBCOMM SIM enables ubiquitous cellular connectivity, backed by a global network of cellular providers.
This rugged and environmentally sealed device has applications for transportation, maritime, oil and gas, heavy equipment, utilities, agriculture, and more, with reliable connectivity in remote regions, even if the asset enters and exits cellular coverage.
The device is programmable and, being powered by the Lua framework, allows for the development of custom applications. These terminal applications are onboard the device, allowing access to advanced alerts, sensor integration, and bidirectional communication to control the device.
The ST 9100 comes equipped with various inputs and outputs, including RS-232, RS-485, CAN bus, 1-wire, and 4-20 mA. Additional integration is powered by Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, allowing the device to wirelessly connect to sensors and technicians to perform maintenance on the device from a mobile application.
