Stingr Globalstar

The STINGR is a satellite transmitter with an integrated GPS receiver, a complete tracking solution in a single module that drastically reduces the design effort required to help customers build compact and efficient satellite communication devices. Using the Globalstar satellite network, the STINGR allows information to be transmitted from areas far beyond the reach of reliable cellular coverage worldwide. The STINGR is a low-cost OEM module that sends one-way data messages through the Globalstar satellite network. The module has a high-performance GPS receiver, as well as a built-in dual-band antenna that greatly simplifies the effort of integrating satellite communications into a tracking or monitoring device. The STINGR is ideal for integrating monitoring, tracking, and remote measurement applications.
