Starcom Unit Location Control (LCU500) and the Starcom Personal Locator (PL500) receive their location data from the integrated GPS card in the unit. In case of theft, distress, distance request, the unit sends the data to the routing application that communicates with the unit through the cellular network and updates the location and status of each installed sensor in the car or carried by a person.
