The SkyWave SureLinx GPS is a dual-mode GPS tracking device for use with both Inmarsat satellites and national and international cellular networks. Inputs for various sensors also allow data to be collected no matter where an asset is located. All this information is sent and received thanks to the external antenna that can be connected to the SkyWave device. From tracking trucks to fixed monitoring control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, SkyWave products are used in a multitude of tracking and monitoring applications worldwide. The housing consists of SkyWave satellite communication terminals that use GPS satellites to acquire position information and Inmarsat satellites to send and receive data, land earth stations (LES) to send and receive data to Inmarsat satellites, and a SkyWave Network Operations Center to manage data between satellite terminals and solution provider applications.
