The GL505 is a powerful waterproof GPS tracker, designed for fixed asset monitoring applications. It operates with two CR123A lithium batteries, can be configured to 'wake up' at preset times to check if a change in operation mode or commands is necessary, and/or send location reports, and then return to hibernation mode. When optimally configured, the battery life is over 1,000 days. With the integrated motion sensor, the GL-500 can also detect any movement of the asset and send an alarm message. Based on the @Track communication protocol, the GL500 can communicate with communication servers via the GPRS/GSM network for report and alarm sending, or with a telephone number via SMS. System integrators can easily incorporate the communication protocol into existing systems.
