It is a smart, freely configurable tracking device that can be fully adapted to the user's needs. Its main objective is to act as a mobile client for various system solutions such as AVL, fleet management, security, and vehicle recovery. The device can operate completely autonomously and is capable of interacting through sensors and actuators. It can be adapted to existing tracking solutions and can be easily configured to obtain or exchange relevant information with servers or users directly. A frequent use example is sending status reports or detailed alert messages directly via SMS to users and/or via TCP to tracking servers. Users benefit most from the combination of comfort and security aspects, for example, having normal voice calls as well as emergency spy calls. Driver logbook and data logging functionalities are combined in the Falcom history function. Geofencing can be used to report violations of predefined routes or areas (e.g., if a car enters or exits a specific area/no-go zones). All these features are perfectly integrated into a device concept, which significantly reduces time to market and offers low-cost and secure tracking solutions.
