Puntero comprises a GPS receiver, a GSM modem, microcontroller, event memory, battery life of up to 2.7 hours, analog and digital inputs and outputs, and a vocal tract battery. It is designed for use in driving a car. It can be used with people and for transportation company security. It comes with support programs for electronic cards / GPRS GSM settings for diagnostic, configuration, and upgrade options. Voice messages and data use the ADEMCO Contact ID protocol.
