LMU-330H The LMU-330 is an economical and comprehensive vehicle tracking product designed for covert and reliable installation in automobiles. The LMU-330 is an ideal solution for stolen vehicles, vehicle financing, car rental, and other automotive tracking and tracing applications. CalAmp's high-value LMU-330 tracking unit features a small footprint, superior GPS performance, an optional 200 mAh internal backup battery, very low power sleep modes, a 3-axis accelerometer for motion sensing, and up to four inputs/outputs (I/O). The LMU-330 is a complete vehicle tracking and communication device that incorporates next-generation, highly sensitive GPS technology on cellular networks for installation in any 12/24-volt mobile vehicle. The internal cellular and GPS antennas eliminate the need for wired antennas and allow the LMU-330 to be virtually mounted anywhere in the vehicle for easy and cost-effective installations. Messages are transported over the cellular network using enhanced SMS or UDP messages that provide a reliable communication link between the device and its application servers. The LMU-330 is designed to dramatically reduce ownership costs, power, and size while providing excellent field reliability.
