The TTU-2820 is a complete vehicle tracking and communication device that incorporates next-generation, high-sensitivity GPS technology in GPRS, CDMA 1xRTT, and HSPA cellular networks for equipment or in any 12 or 24-volt mobile vehicle. Internal antennas and quality for cell phones and GPS eliminate the need for wired antennas and make the TTU-2820 mountable practically anywhere in the vehicle for easy, low-cost installations. Messages are transported over the cellular network using either SMS or UDP messages, providing a reliable communication link between the device and application servers. The TTU-2820 is designed to drastically reduce ownership cost, power, and size while offering excellent field reliability.
