The PT600 positioning device was developed and designed specifically for real-time tracking of vehicles and for use for security monitoring purposes. Operating principle: PT600 operates based on two types of waves, GPS satellite waves (used to determine the device's location) and the mobile network (via SMS or GPRS protocol) to communicate location information on the device's mobile number or on the previously configured server. Inside the device, it is equipped with a GPS chipset to capture satellite signals and a mobile phone SIM card for SMS or GPRS signal. The PT600 features an internal accelerometer, an 800 mAh backup battery, an expandable I/O port, and even external GSM/GPS antennas. These features, along with Position Logic's GPS tracking software, allow companies to deploy the TR-600 as a fleet tracker by GPS.
