The positioning can be activated with time intervals, movement, or by pressing one of the buttons on the Aplicom R8. With a built-in sensor that can turn on the device and, if configured, sound an alarm when the vehicle or device moves. This function allows, for example, tracking vehicles, personal security, worker protection, as well as recovering stolen vehicles. The long-lasting battery and intelligent sleep mode function allow for long working hours.
R8 is very suitable for personal security due to its status buttons, small size, and low power consumption. The Aplicom R8 can assign a panic button to report the location of a person in danger, for example.
