It is a development tool for the XIDE® product line from MICROSIDE TECHNOLOGY®, aimed at programming 8-bit PIC® microcontrollers with DIP28 packaging and architecture. Its compact design allows for direct implementation in systems where size must be minimal and a large number of ports is not required. MICROSIDE TECHNOLOGY® offers this module with the 28-pin PIC18F25K50 microcontroller, with two integrated bootloader versions; MICROSIDE® bootloader version and PINGUINO version, which allows it to be programmed directly through its micro USB port using the free XIDE® software or from the PINGUINO IDE platform. Like the X-TRAINERP8®, this module offers all the performance of the improved PIC18F25K50 but in a compact size, ideal not only for final designs but also in its development phase.

Count on configuration jumpers that allow you to easily change the operating voltage from 5V to 3.3V. You can use the integrated LED by placing the jumper called "LED" and connecting it to pin A1, and use the integrated button called "BOOT" by connecting it to pin A2 of the microcontroller.
